2012 Victory Vegas Review
o An iconic cruiser look that turns heads. Performance that turns mindsets.
o Classic styling and a comfortable low riding position.
o The cruiser motorcycle that helped re-define and re-imagine the new generation of American cruisers has returned in 2012 - better than ever.o The Victory Vegas custom cruiser motorcycle returns this year with the ability to handle any road on the map, without sacrificing even a tiny bit of power. Instead, we've made it more ferocious than ever with the addition of a 106 cubic-inch Freedom V-Twin engine that rockets you along with 97 horsepower for the ultimate custom cruiser motorcycle experience.

Vegas Custom Cruisers

Featuring the long, low and slick profile that Vegas riders have come to expect, the 2012 cruiser retains everything you love while upping the ante with more power and more value for your buck. Don't sacrifice performance for style, style for performance, or versatility for either one. With the Vegas cruiser, you get the ability to handle country roads, interstates, and city boulevards with the same level of roaring intensity.

Don't take our word for the unprecedented performance or the undeniable cruiser motorcycle style. Find a local Victory motorcycle dealer around you and ask to test drive one of the new 2012 Victory Vegas custom cruisers. Follow your passion to ride with a spin on one of these bikes, and you'll understand why so many have been converted already.

PROVEN OUTSTANDING RELIABILITY
Victory has a track record of consistently outstanding reliability and dependability, which has led to the industry's highest customer satisfaction ratings. This proven reliability, along with the new transmission design, allows Victory to recommend extended oil service intervals for 2011 drivetrains.

o The recommended oil change interval for 2011 models is every 5,000 miles (8,000 km).
o Less-frequent oil changes results in a lower cost of ownership.

NEW TRANSMISSION
The Victory drivetrain team scrutinized every component of the engine and transmission and fine-tuned the designs and performance of numerous parts. Approximately 40% of the drivetrain is new for 2011, with the transmission receiving so many improvements it is virtually a new transmission.

The changes: improved manufacturing efficiency and quality assurance; enhanced drivetrain's already-impressive reliability; improved engine performance; and, for riders, improved ridability and delivered a more appealing-sounding transmission.

o In terms of operating sound, selected modulation frequencies have been eliminated. This produces a more-appealing sound - consistently in each gear. In 4th and 6th gears in particular, gear whine has been reduced.
o Driveline lash has been reduced by 66%.
o "Neutral Assist" has been added to make it easier for a rider to shift into neutral when stopped. This will reduce the rider's effort, will reduce clutch wear and will lessen the performance demands on the oil.

ENHANCED INSTRUMENTATION
All cruisers now have instrumentation similar to that of the Victory Cross Roads, which provides a rider with a wealth of information in one, easy-to-read location. The new instrumentation includes:

o An analog speedometer, which may be set to show MPH or KPH.
o Blue backlighting.
o A large LCD that displays: Clock (time of day is viewable at all times), gear position, tachometer and diagnostic readouts for Victory dealership service technicians.
o The gauge face includes lights such as high-beam and neutral indicators and the oil warning light. Cruisers no longer have these indicator lights atop the triple clamps.
o The Cross Roads instrumentation also has an always-viewable fuel gauge.

CHASSIS CHANGES ACROSS THE LINEUP
All brake calipers, rotors, lower belt guards, and floorboards are black.

o All left- and right-hand switch cubes are black, as are the audio control switch block and cruise control switch block.
o The triple clamp is black on all models except the Vegas Jackpot (which retains its chrome triple), and the Victory Cross Roads (which retains its brushed finish).
o A new side stand on each model features an integrated hooked-end design for easy locating and easy control of the side stand.
o All cruiser exhausts have a larger outlet for improved sound quality and a lower exhaust note.

2012 Victory Vegas Model Highlights
- 113 ft lbs torque
- Low seat height (25.2 inches)
- Split-tail gas tank and spine

2012 Victory Vegas Features and Benefits

106 CUBIC-INCH FREEDOM V-TWIN
Whether you're finding your way across town or cruising the city's glass canyons, the Freedom V-Twin power plant delivers 97 horsepower and 113 ft lbs of green-light torque with ultimate authority. The heart of every Victory Cruiser machine, it informs the world of your arrival with every crack of the throttle.

6-SPEED OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION
The best performing transmission on the street collects the power generated by the massive V-twin and allows the Vegas cruiser to roll fluidly between the curbs. Helical-cut gears ensure that each shift will be as smooth and clean as the bike itself.

113 FT LBS TORQUE
Press the starter and you can feel deep in your chest an eruption of low-end torque. With each precision-tuned piston stroke, the Freedom V-Twin's 4-valve overhead cams and perfectly matched 6-speed overdrive transmission promise to provide unmatched throttle response, acceleration and passing power.

PULLED-BACK BARS
Any road. Any time. The handlebars are designed for all kinds of riding since their ready reach means easier steering for riders of all sizes.

LOW SEAT HEIGHT
The low 25.2" seat height works in tandem with the pulled-back handlebars to ensure a firm sense of mastery over the machine. Combine that with a more rearward placement of the foot controls and you have a rider who stays comfortable from points A to B and all the way to Z.

SPLIT-TAIL GAS TANK AND SPINE
One thing that sets the Victory Vegas apart from the rest of its cruiser family is its split-tail gas tank. The other is the way the tank's sculpted sides lead to a raised center spine, adding further testimony to the bike's aggressive spirit.

AVAILABLE CRUISE CONTROL AND HEATED GRIPS
Opting for precise, automotive-style cruise control means your right hand can just hang on and enjoy the ride. Choosing heated grips can add precious road time to both sides of summer, and may be the best means of enhancing your road warrior reputation.

Press Release

Hyosung Gets Injected (Australian Press Release)
South Korea has been doing more than scanning the northern horizon for missiles in recent months: it's been busy preparing for the launch of its own missiles. The Hyosung motorcycle range has been given a major facelift and now features fuel-injection across the entire 250cc and 650cc V-twin 2010 model range.

The popular GV250 and GV650 Aquila cruisers retain their signature styling and robust, powerful engines, but now have the added benefit of EFI. The EFI system provides seamless power throughout the rev range and smooth idling from cold.

The GT250 naked sports commuter and the GT250R sports model also feature EFI. Completely restyled with aggressive new lines, LED stop/tail-lamp and clear indicator lenses, they are set to regain their place at the top of the 250cc sales charts.

EFI also takes a front row seat on the three-model 650cc GT range. The GT650 naked, the half-faired GT650S sport tourer and the GT650R sport all feature the new styling changes, plus improved braking with four-piston callipers gripping 300mm semi-floating discs on all three models.

Great news for learner riders too. The 250cc models are automatically learner approved, but so too are all four 650cc models. The LAMS approved 650cc EFI models now deliver 40kw, up from 25kw on previous models. The non-LAMS 650cc versions pump out a healthy 59kw.

"This is great timing for the Hyosung range. As Australia pulls out of its economic dip, we have a fresh new range for riders both new and experienced," said Hyosung Australia Brand Manager Simon Gloyne. "In 2006 and 2007 the Hyosung GT250R was the top selling 250cc road bike in Australia because of its massive package of features and performance for such a low price. Now that package has fresh styling and fuel injection across the entire range, we are aiming for the number one spot again."

The new styling and technical updates are additional to an already value packed range with all models featuring USD forks (except GV250), grunty V-twin engines and now EFI.

The EFI models go on sale this month, with the following recommended price (before statutory and delivery charges):

GT250 $5990
GT250R $6990
GT650 naked $7990
GT650S sport tourer $8590
GT650R $8990
GV250 $5990
GV650 $9990

LAMS is not available in WA. It is available in all other states now and Queensland from July 1, 2009.

Arguably the most ‘complete’ motorcycle from Benelli in modern times. It may be ironic that the best bike this Italian firm, which is steeped in racing history, has built isn’t a superbike, but the Benelli Tre K is a superb, Multistrada-esque, do-anything, all-purpose street motorcycle and it really is very, very good.

Engine
Big Benellis have rasping in-line-three-cylinder engines and the Tre K is no different. Its 1030cc motor is also used in the Café Racer, TNT and Tornado but for the Tre K is retuned for mid-range usability. As well as making a beautiful high-pitched racket like a NASCAR on helium when you thrash it, there’s a nice spread of usable power right through the rev-range too.

Ride and Handling
One of the things that makes the Benelli Tre K so good is its versatility on the road. An upright riding position, soft suspension, comfy seat and decent wind protection make it easy to live with but it also rewards when you want to play. The Benelli Tre K's supple suspension offers lots of control and the chassis won’t go all wobbly at the knees during bouts of hard riding.

Equipment

Standard fare is on par with the Benelli Tre K’s closest rival: the Ducati Multistrada. There are no real juicy gadgets or ABS but you get a decent half-fairing with adjustable screen to keep off windblast on long journeys, and there are panniers and sat nav available as options.

Quality and Reliability
There are plenty of nice touches on the Benelli Tre K such as a beautifully made tubular steel frame and swingarm, the styling is funky and quality items like Marzocchi forks, Brembo brakes and an Extreme Tech rear shock come as standard. With new management, a new UK importer and stricter quality control, Benelli is addressing reliability problems of old.

Value
Costing £8349 the Benelli Tre K is a lot of bike for the money. It’s fun, easy to ride and versatile; the badge on the tank adds extra kudos too. This could be the bike that takes Benelli forward into the 21st Century.

A motorcycle accident can cause devastating injuries as well as property damage, to the motorcycle driver and to those involved. An accident attorney who specializes in Florida injury cases can help both the driver and riders if an accident case ends up in court. A motorcycle accident will be examined more carefully than if only cars were involved, because of the delicacy of the situation. The attorneys and court officials will be looking to see who is responsible for the accident, by interviewing witnesses, checking the evidence, reconstructing the accident scene, and talking to all of those involved. A reputable motorcycle accident attorney is essential to make sure that the rights of the victim are taken care of.

An accident attorney will be responsible for two main factors: liability determination and compensation. Determining liability may be either easy or difficult. This will depend on the severity of the accident, whether there were witnesses, the weather, and other factors. Liability is the process of figuring out just who was at fault for the accident. Many drivers violate speeding and traffic laws, whether intentionally or unintentionally. If an accident occurred because the other person disobeyed a traffic law, there may be penalties for both parties
involved.

An accident attorney may have a very difficult job determining who was at fault in an accident. Many instances, both of the parties may be responsible for the accident that occurred. If this seems to be the case, then a study will be performed to see who shares the bigger fault, so as to determine who takes the responsibility. A thorough study of a motorcycle accident may need to be conducted to determine this, and will be done through both the accident attorney’s office and any insurance companies involved. An accident attorney will handle these cases with the upmost care and diligence, so that they have the most accurate information. Since every accident is unique, each study will be tailored to find out who will ultimately take the blame.

An accident attorney will then turn their focus to compensation for the victim, after fault has been determined in the motorcycle accident. There may be many different damages from a motorcycle accident that will need to be taken care of quickly and efficiently. The biggest worry is bodily injury that may have occurred as a result of the accident. The driver of the motorcycle, any riders, and whoever else was involved in the accident may all have required medical attention. With the relaxed helmet laws, many cyclists do not wear helmets while they are driving, which can result in traumatic head injuries. An accident involving a motorcycle can easily result in severe injury and even death.

Other aspects of compensation that an accident attorney will work for are damage that may have been done to property, such as to other vehicles, buildings or possessions. An accident attorney will also try to get lost wages and money for pain and suffering, if their client has lost work because of the accident. An accident attorney will also attempt to get all medical bills covered for their client, either through insurance or through a judgment.

An experienced motorcycle accident attorney can present their case for an accident victim in order to get the best compensation possible. If you or a loved one gets into a motorcycle accident, hiring a professional accident attorney is the best course of action.
